Greetings gentlemen, we just
heard you for the first time here in Dickinson, ND. You are
awesome, you rock. It is by far the best entertainment the

I didn't know what to expect from 'Another Beatle's Tribute
Band'. I sat in one of the front rows, anticipating that the
show would be good. What a surprise! The show started out on a
high note and went uphill from there! Growing up with the
Beatles, and enjoying their music for many years, I must say
that I was not disappointed...AT ALL! What a great tribute band
the Abbey Road Band is! They captured the sounds of the Beatles,
well to keep it simple....THEY NAILED IT!!!! ____________________________________________________________ My wife and I just attended one of your shows at the Norsk
Hostfest in Minot ND ____________________________________________________________ Comments Posted by Pawel Last night Kelly and I went to hear the Abbey Road Band, a Beatles tribute band. Four guys who didn’t look like the Beatles, but, like they said and confirmed while playing, they did sound like the legendary boys from Liverpool. Their goal was to master the original sound of the band, imitate every small detail of the Beatles performance. I enjoyed listening to them. They started with “I want to hold your hand”, and played a lot of love songs from their earliest repertoire at first, which wasn’t what I was waiting for, a kid from a postmodern world, who would rather listen to the White Album or Sgt. Pepper’s, all the weird stuff which made the Beatles an exceptional and universal band to me. But after an an-tract, they played Rocky Raccoon, Something, Imagine, and more! So I was pleased. The most memorable thing though was that many, many people in the audience were in their seventies plus, and when “George” asked how many of you have seen the Beatles live on the Ed Sullivan Show during their first appearance in the US, there were a bunch of hands in the air. I really regretted I couldn’t have shared that experience. Although sitting by these people, who were waving their hands, clapping and trying to pretend to be the young, noisy crowd during All My Loving, brought me closer to the Beatles than the performing band itself. These people still have that spirit of music of the Beatles, of who they were as charismatic individuals, what they said, what they looked like, and I could feel it. _____________________________________________________________ Comments Thank you. I love the Beatles and loved your concert in Austin last week!!_____________________________________________________________ Comments
Thank you for coming back to Devils
Lake and giving us an encore performance! I would never send
your CD back to you but it would be interesting to see what CD
you would send back to me!!! The only thing that would have
made the concert better was to have a dance floor so we could
all shake our inhibitions and Twist & Shout!

_____________________ Comments Thanks a lot for the great show in Gayville, SD on Nov 7, 2009. Six of us ventured over from Yankton to see your show and we were amazed by the performance. We’d head that the show was good, but it exceeded all of our expectations. We are all just huge Beatles fans and it was great seeing musicians perform the songs so well and show such great enthusiasm for doing it. No question, the challenge to performing Beatles’ music is the vocal harmonies and you guys nailed the songs. The vocals on songs such as “You’re going to Lose that Girl,” “This Boy,” and “If I Fell,” were top notch. Another pleasant surprise is that the later Beatles songs such “Birthday,” “Something”, and “Hey Jude” were performed with equal effectiveness, as the earlier offerings. You are a band of versatile, top notch musicians. We also appreciated your great rapport with the audience. It was also nice visiting with you after the show. The next time that you venture back to eastern SD, we’ll go and we’ll keep checking your schedule, in case any of us are ever in the Black Hills. Again, great show Rich Wright Yankton SD _____________________________________________________ Comments Hey Guys,

You certainly did do it!
WOW, what a fun time! We can't thank you and the band enough for taking
the time to come out and entertain a school full of middle school
students. Friday's Abbey Road concert at Douglas Middle School was
definitely a unique and memorable history lesson. It was wonderful to
see the enthusiasm of the kids. I think you've created some new Beatles
fans; John, Paul, George, and Ringo would be proud!
All of the teachers, myself included, had a fantastic time as well. I
know you sent many staff members back in time to their own teen/tween
years. What a treat to end the school year in such a memorable way.
The drama students were particularly excited. The concert truly
complimented their efforts this year and set the mood for their end of
year celebration.
I was particularly delighted to see sixth grader Tess Enstad receive
special recognition at the concert. Thank you for making her feel so
special by putting her in the spotlight. She is a sweet student, and it
was heart-warming to watch her have the chance to publicly shine.
On a personal note, thanks for punctuating what turned out to be a
fantastic day for me; not only was able to arrange my schedule so that
I could attend your awesome concert, but I also got to go to the airport
that night to pick up my husband. (He surprised me by arriving home
from his deployment a couple days early!) My only regret was that I
forgot to set the DVR to record the news before I left for the airport!
I had hoped to watch the t.v. coverage...especially KOTA since they
also interviewed Tess. It was great that the t.v. stations and the
Journal helped spread the news of the band's generosity, and I'm sure
the public will be looking forward to catching your upcoming concerts.
You are a special group of people to share your time and talents the way
you did. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to communicate
with you...and to see the band twice! I look forward to hearing Abbey
Road again, and I'm sure you'll see other Douglas Middle School fans
bringing their families to future concerts as well.
Have a fabulous summer!
With sincere thanks,
Kristi Hullings

It was wonderful seeing you all. I truly
enjoyed myself.
Sang me old heart out, I did!
Alas, due to my lung collapsing in
November, all the singing I did did not sit well with my lung, when we
left I was coughing and breathless, I did not have my inhaler with me.
But, it was all worth it. You are a great bunch of lads and I wish you
every success.
I have a CD of Pete Best, done in
Liverpool a few years ago. It is mostly about Pete and his growing-up
years, his mum and dad, home, Beatles, etc. I am going to make a copy of
it and send it to you. You will have to turn up the sound as there are
other people from Liverpool on the CD and you might not be able to
understand them!
Will be in touch.

We, Gail and I, very much appreciated your
performance January 9, 2009, at the Royal River Casino. Having not seen
you perform previously we were anxious to hear and see Abbey Road since a
couple of friends had told us you were very good. We were pleasantly
surprised that the performance was much, much better than we could have
possibly hoped. The entertainment factor furnished by Abbey Road absolutely
surpassed many Las Vegas shows we've seen including some top name head
liners with tickets costing well over $200 per seat.
Thanks for a very nice performance. You're
just another one of South Dakota's well kept secrets.
We certainly hope to see you back in our area
again. If not, we'll make sure we visit the Rapid City area to see you
perform.

British Invasion Hits Dickinson, North Dakota
Young and old took a trip back to the sixties when Rapid City’s own Abbey Road Band performed at the Women’s Expo in Dickinson, North Dakota. The “lads” were a huge hit to say the least.
Abbey Road is clearly not your average cover band. The music was right on with instrumentation and vocals so tight you’d swear you were sitting in Ed Sullivan’s studio.
These guys are polished professionals and did a wonderful job of interacting with the crowd. They’re not only gifted musicians, they were highly entertaining and the audience embraced them whole heartedly. They were personable, funny and genuinely nice guys. And, they stuck around to visit with the fans after the show.
Abbey Road’s love and enthusiasm for their craft really shows. They had fun and so did we. They played hit after hit ending with a standing ovation and the audience pleading for more.
If you are looking for talent, do yourself a favor take a trip down Abbey Road.

___________________________________________________________________________________ Comments Hey guys, just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed
your concert. It was a great addition to our 125th celebration and we are so
thankful that you could rearrange your schedules for us. A few had heard you
last year in Minot but the rest of us were blown away by your music. I didn't
even want to close my eyes...didn't want to miss a thing. It was very apparent
that you have played together a long time because you were so at easy with each
other. The interaction with the audience was very enjoyable (except when you
pointed at me to sing, Monte!) and made us all feel like we were part of the
show. You played all the great Beatle songs and most of the audience sang right
along with you. We are already trying to figure out how to get you back here
again soon. Until then, best wishes to you all. Lee Ann Johnston, Devils Lake,

Attended your concert at the Robert Fawcett
Auditorium on the campus of Lake Region State College in Devils lake, ND on
July 5th. I brought my 2 grandsons with me - ages 12 and 13. We had a
great time listening to your band. The grandsons and myself are still
talking about the concert and how great you guys were. You were one of the
highlights of the reunion weekend. We will definitely be trying to
attend all of your future concerts in our area.
I'll be suggesting to the Chester Fritz
Auditorium, on the campus of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks,
that they try to book you for a concert sometime, too.

Hi All
I was so happy that you played on the days that my wife and I were in
Deadwood. Your performance was far superior to any Beatle tribute band that
I have seen. I am from Iowa City, Iowa and was the one asking for your
card to see if you can play at our new casino in Riverside,Iowa,17 miles
south of Iowa City. Your band is so good, that when you say you are going to
take a break, everyone wants more. Thanks for so many wonderful songs done
so well. I am happy you played at the 4 ACES CASINO, but wish it could have
been a bigger place, because I am sure you would pack them in. Keep up the
good work, and I love your CD.

Comments There was a new group at our 2006 Hostfest stage, at which I was one of the stage managers.. They were called the Abbey Road Band and they done one terrific job of doing the Beatles music !!! We and the crowds just loved their performance and I would heartily recommend them to anyone who grew up loving the Beatles !! They are a great group of gentlemen!!! You will love them, too !!! A Beatles fan !! Darlene Peters______________________________________________________________________________________ Comments Several years ago, a group of my friends and I traveled to Deadwood, South Dakota to celebrate the grand opening of the Tatanka Museum. Fortunately enough, we had the opportunity to hear and meet Abbey Road Band playing at Tin Lizzy's. Everyone at Tin Lizzy's celebrated an era listening to the fantastic interpretation of Paul, John, George, and Ringo by the band. We did not want to see the show end whatsoever! I applaud and congratulate Abbey Road Band for their dedication and commitment in keeping the spirit of The Beatles alive for all generations. Cheers! Blessings always! In July of 2006, the six thousand seat Black Hills Passion Play
Amphitheatre was the location of a dynamic concert given by the Abbey Road
Band. We had often heard of the band from other professional friends and
business acquaintances, but nothing could have prepared us for the
experience of hearing them live in concert. With a unique sound that equals
that of the legendary Beatles and an energy that ignites the audience, the
Abbey Road Band promptly captures the audience and doesn't let go until the
final encore. With classic Beatles music that is fun for the whole family,
this band is highly recommended by our theatre company. Their
professionalism on stage is equally matched by their personalities off
stage, which made for a very harmonious relationship with us as their hosts.
We look forward to having them perform again in our theatre and can highly
recommend them to anyone looking for a fun evening of great entertainment.

We saw your performance at Passion

amazing, probably the most amazing tribute concert I've seen. We heard
you were "real good", you guys were more than "real
good". It's all in the details when
doing tribute work like this and you were "spot on", a real
memorable performance. Even my 21 year old daughter ( and serious music
critic) was quite amazed. OOOHHH YYEEAAHH !!!!

Once again you put on heart pounding performance
at the 2nd annual Automania in downtown Sioux Falls. So many emotions coming
back when each song brought back so many memories of the young and carefree
Beatle days. Close your eyes...and its like you went back in
time....each song sounding so true to the original. I know a great number of
local fans are looking forward to your next gig in our area. Rock on

Hello "Abbey Road Band" ,
03-05-2006
Again you have mastered the excellence of the
Beatles!
You guys sounded GREAT
last night at AJ's in Rapid City. The crowd was really into it. You can always
tell your doing a good job by the how the crowd is responding. Last night it
looked like the old high school days. People just having fun!
Your music automatically takes people back to the
"good old days"..As I watched the dance floor, they were really just
getting into it. That only happens when there is as talented of a group as you
are.
Thank you again for an exceptional evening of
entertainment!

great thing. The very next time you hear they are performing, make an

Hey Guys,
01-28-06
I should have written this last
week but to many things just got in the way.
First of all Congratulations!!!
What an awesome sound! You have truly captured at the highest level
"The Beatles".
"Abbey Road", from
the name of the group, the absolute perfect harmonies, the style of play which
"is" The Beatles, and I mean note
for note, the accent of the Liverpool Boys, and the wonderful stage presence
that you all show, it was just a terrific
performance.
Wow, what fun, and all the time
you stay connected to the audience. Man, I'll tell you, you really took me
back many years that night. I just closed
my eyes and there they were, "The Beatles". What memories!
Thank you all for a great
evening and some super entertainment!!!
Looking forward to hearing you again soon.

There were many much older people attending the convention who were more anxious to get to their hotel rooms and retire for the night rather than to listen to the music of "those moptops from England" who kept their own kids screaming and jumping way back when, but those of us who grew up idolizing the Beatles absolutely loved the Abbey Road Band and the memories you brought back for us. I think it was a blast when people started getting up from their seats and began dancing in front of the stage. Then there were people like me who stayed in their seats and sang out loud to the songs we remembered. I applaud you guys for successfully breathing new life into one of the most beloved bands of our time. Your fab fan, Ellen Smith P. S.
